2 Post Lifts

One of the oldest pieces of garage equipment is the 2 post lift, which is used to lift vehicles off the ground in order to carry out servicing and repairs. They have been used by garages for around 40 years and have changed and advanced over time to become more efficient and effective and to accommodate newer and heavier types of vehicle, which of course are also advancing constantly.  Fortunately, here at Equipment4Garages we are dedicated to providing only the most up-to-date 2 post lifts which provide you with convenience as well as safety.

Constantly Advancing 2 Post Lifts

Here at Equipment4Garages we are dedicated to providing only the most up-to-date 2 post lifts. Many years ago, the basic design of the lift involved 2 posts being placed on an H-frame, which was then bolted to the floor. One of the big disadvantages of these early lifts was that the nuts within the posts were prone to wear and tear, which was of course a real safety issue. However, over the years, Peak lifts which use rams and steel cables have become widely used in commercial garages all over the country, and this is what we specialise in here at Equipment4Garages. Our biggest-selling 2 post lifts within our impressive range are the Peak models 209 and 209 X, due to their exclusive single-sided lock release system which provides the mechanic with the convenience of not having to walk either side of the vehicle to release the locks. As well as this revolutionary feature, these Peak models also have supersymmetric arms, which allow you to position the car on the lift to suit the weight and type of the vehicle you are servicing.

With 2 post lifts changing and advancing all the time, and with most garage equipment manufacturers stocking a huge range of lifts, it makes sense to consult Equipment4Garages to discuss your lift requirements.
