2 Post Baseless Lift AMGO E240SAC with electric release.

For those that don’t know the AMGO brand and its sister company PEAK they are one of the world’s largest vehicle lift producers.

A baseless lift quite simply doesn’t have a base plate on the floor covering the synchronising cables or hydraulic hoses.

They are also known as ‘clear floor’ lifts.

In the US and South America, they are the most popular type of lift and they are increasing in popularity in the UK & Continental Europe.

One of the immediate benefits of a baseless lift is that there are no obstructions on the floor so you can use a transmission jack with ease without having to overcome moving it across a baseplate.

Another reason for purchasing a baseless lift is that the lift pads are generally lower making it more convenient for loading ‘low ride height cars’

More importantly these lifts are now coming more desirable for workshops that maintain electric and hybrid vehicles. It is essential that there are no obstructions on the floor especially when you are moving electric car batteries costing several thousands of pounds around.

Another feature of this lift is its super symmetric arm design. The lift arms can be used symmetrical with the arms of even length or asymmetrically with the arms of uneven lengths.  Using the arms with uneven length sometime assists when positioning to get in and out of the car door. Also, using the arms with uneven length can be a way of getting a better and safer weight distribution as with most cars its weight is towards the front.

Another couple of important features of this lift is that it has 2 height settings, which is something to consider when you come to install.

The locking mechanism of this lift is electric. It has 2 x electromagnetic heavy-duty locks so there are no levers to press or cables to pull.

There are 2 safety limit switches one in the post and one attached to the padded safety bar on the top cross beam.

The lift comes with a set of 3” height adapters.

There are numerous accessories for this lift such as golf buggy and lawn mower lifting attachment, and our new wheel lifting fork/supports. The wheel lifting folk/supports allow you to lift the vehicle by its wheels. They are sold in sets of 4. These accessories are on our website, and we have a separate leaflet for our 2 post lift accessories.

So, there you have it the AMGO E240SAC fully electric release baseless lift available from Equipment4garages.
